To preface, I am just starting a dream journal because I’ve been having vivid dreams after quitting pot. So I thought I’d share one. This probably won’t make a lot of sense to you guys but I thought you guys might find the nature of it interesting.

• started off gambling with strawberries in a large casino with my friends who were also gambling with various fruits, but I got very angry that the gambling master was taking away my strawberries and replacing them with ibuprofen. When I noticed I called that fucker out on his BS. I held my composure as he scolded me and I told him that I wasn’t going to stand for it in a stern tone. He then banished me to another section of this dream where I was sent to a choosing menu and I only had a few options. I figured I would cut my losses and chose this dim lit library room with a kitchen in the back left corner and a couple of rooms upstairs. This place seemed to be a Halloween type of vibe and there were teenagers around. None of them seemed to notice me for some reason and I realized that I was a ghost or something. I could walk through walls and nobody knew I was there. I could see everybody else eating weirdly fancy meals for young teenagers. I made my way upstairs and for some reason Jonathan and his friends where in a separate room. I entered the room next to his and it was a small dingy dim lit room with a bunk bed and a closet. In the room was person who said the only way to be seen again was too put on the costume he was wearing, which was a cartoony mouse mask straight out of a Halloween movie. I .refused and exited the room. I later came back into the room realizing that I need to put on the outfit because I felt something bigger was coming. Sitting on the chair was just the outfit but no sign of the person. I reluctantly put it on but a short moment after I put it on I hear the closet open and there is the man but now he’s got a gun drawn and is about to fire. I draw my gun and we light each other up with bullets. The black fat gambling master come back saying it was some sort of test but I am in and out of consciousness at this point. I am being carried in the arms of some sort of feminine giant heroin figure and we are in a completely different setting now. There is a whole audience and a dancing lady in the crowd shoots a beam of healing at me and I feel alive again. The heroin figure then flies me out of the stratosphere in a flame of rainbows and an army of creatures and I’m out of there. The end

CHAPTER 6
Astrapian City

Entry - ??? It's been days and weeks since the Castle of the Valkyrie Queen crashed into the surface of the earth. Mostly I don't know where the heck are we... However I’m back to the Clan...
There is no place like Home...
I never thought that this place can look so good. The Specter Clan did a fantastic job in making it secure.

Specter says "Darkcrow, can you walk now?" "Well... With the Mechanic's help, I can walk, but it's going to take awhile before my leg is healed completely." He replied Spencer sits on his bed and think about what can he do.

Melody interview with my Clanmates, How did she found Specter also known as Me the Legendary Demon-Hunter.
One of the elf girl said "OMG! HOW DID YOU FOUND THE REAL SPECTER BLACKWING" and she continued ask questions for an extended period of time.
Melody said "Did you know about Me and Specter? I'm his Girlfriend." The Elf Girl said "OMG! Me and my friend have been waiting for this day for years! We've been Specter fans from the beginning! Sooooo... You guys are together now?" Melody replied "Well maybe... I do love Specter, He so cool and edgy..." The Elf Girl said "AHHHH, She's soooo Lucky to have him!" and they decided to scream in romantic excitements Melody blushed and stopped the rest of her reply.
Roger legs has fixed and he gone to trained outside in the clan with the clan mechanics. The clan mechanics added some new features of weapon in his robotic hand. Also the clan warriors added some new features of armor on his robotic body. After the upgrades, Roger is ready for combat for future missions.
The Clan Warrior said "This is the new metal coats for your new body, It can protect you from Corrosion and Bullets!” Roger will be a great robot warrior for the Specter Clan!
Lily, well she is now awake and has a interview with the knights on the other kingdom about the crash of the Castle of the Queen Valkyrie. She also has a chat with the Mechanic's of the Elf Clan about her motor skills.
Spencer said "Yeah, well it's good that she enjoy herself and not think about the sad stuff."
Victor, on the other hand, he kinda problem in his past-life as a Gambler. He can't stop thinking about it, he even tried to get the Specter help him to get cured, but they couldn't help.
Victor is a total greed loving Magi-Caster and I liked him... But his problem, is he attached on a past life. What is he hiding?
The next day after training and having fun, the Clans resume their meeting.

Specter says "Axelegore kill my partner Lurk and I have to avenge him for good. But i need the 7 orbs to combine into "The Elemental Orb" "The Elemental orb is a powerful magic artifact. It was used by the 6 knights of Lairon, but the creation of the Elemental orb is Unknown..." Specter explained the story
Specter says "Gizmo, The Small Chimera Furry who the former of the Axelegore Orders and has reveal the story of Axelegore Plan and the 6 knights but he died due to the battle with Cupiditas in The Castle of the Valkyrie Queen..." Gizmo is the Chimera Furry with a chip on his shoulder, but he has a bit of a hero complex. I can relate to that.
Specter says "We got the 5 orbs and the next one is the Electric Orb." The Mechanic's look at the 5 orbs and then to Specter. "We can make a Orb." One of the Mechanic's Replied.
Specter says "You can't unless you got them all 12 of them..." One of the Mechanic's look at each other and said "What, do we do?" "Well... We got the 5 orbs correct?" "Correct!
Specter says "Victor, did you seen the Electric Orb before?" "Yes, I saw it in the treasury before all of this chaos broke loose." Victor said with regret. "We have to get it back then."

Victor said "Mostly the Electric Orb was on Astrapian City, The most futuristic city with full of Money and Violence. It was found by the mayor for some unknown reasons. "It's know for power the entire city." "Do you remember where?" "Yes, It was in the Empire Astrapia State Building." "Can we get it?" Victor said "It's a risky try..." "We have to take down the entire state security force with all the Mercenaries and military there to defend it.”
Victor said "The mayor is worked for Axelegore, His name is unknown but the people called him The Black Dragon"

Specter says "Black Dragon, Is that the 4th orders?" "Yes they are, they were created recently. but yeah, that person is very dangerous.

The Sky Crasher Leader: Gruz "They are the one, Sky Pirates who try to fly by shooting and cast magic to destroy all of the traveling ship and make them to banned traveling with airship all over the world and make their home."
The Dark Mechanicus Leader: Cogwheel "They are the ones who have all invented the really big and dangerous machine for the warfare and combat that does most of what the Dark Mechanicus does.
The Phantom Cultist Leader: Light "They are the ones who use their magic to battle and cast through the battlefield. They are the magical and powerful of all the orders.
The Black Dragon Leader: The Black Dragon. "This is the most unknown order, they are invisible to everyone except other members and seem to only be used as assassins by the other orders."

Specter says "They are one tough Orders..." "We can try but the attempt is most dangerous and failed to do this." Darkcrow said. Victor said "We are ready to go then, let's head to the city."
Specter says "Right, we got a world to save!" Victor and you all head to the city and begin your attempt to save the world.

The Astrapian City is a miles away from my Clanhouse and my Village but it's a very long walk to prepare for the Electric Orb... I packed up some food as well as the Orbs also my old dagger and my ropes...

Specter says "Where can i use the ropes for?" The ropes are for climbing big and small rocks. so, you can try climbing some nearby rocks. You find a few rocks you can climb near your current location.
Specter says "Well, i have to use the ropes or the dagger later until we headed to Astrapian City..." You begin to climb the rocks while packing the Orbs in your pack. While climbing, you accidentally drop one of the Orbs.

Victor grab and said "I got it!" and after a quick examination of the Orb, he said "Yes, it's still good!" You all continue to climb rocks until one of the rocks you are climbing is slightly wet.
After you climb a thousands steps. You see a great view and found Astrapian City.
"Woah..." he whisper. "We have to be very careful now, we are in their lands and they may have powerful fighters." Victor says.

Specter says "You got it!" Victor says "Right then, let's start heading to the city and quietly drop our pace until we find a good place to sleep." You all continue your journey to Astrapian City.

Astrapian City A cyberpunk world where everyone is a gambler, perverts, hackers, creepers and rogue.
"Everything is illegal is legal" is their motto!
Interesting Fun Fact! Astrapian City has the highest crime rate in Lairon Region! (Surprised?)
The buildings are tall and the streets are very wide. There is a large park area in the center of the city.
The city is ruled by a The Black Dragon and his council of advisors.

Specter says "What a bunch of rogue..." Just a bunch of gamblers and perverts though. We should ask for a job at the gambling hall... Well, looks like we are already in a lot of trouble.

Victor said "Those guys can break a skull on you for good!" which scared you a bit. You all go into a dark alley way to rest for the night.
Roger sleeps while standing up and Victor get a little too close to your personal space before going to sleep.

Specter says "This is kinda creepy place..." The three of you look around and see if there is any potential danger. "Yeah, this place is creepy..." Victor says in a low voice. You all feel your weapons ready just in case.

Well it's just a drunk guy who drank a lot of beer... and passed out. Still, might be best to keep an eye on him. The Six all proceed to sleep and wait for midnight to start to find the Electric Orb.

Specter wake up and their items got stolen! They all wake up at the same time and check your stuff.

To his surprise, his weapons are gone. He look at Victor, he's still asleep, he whisper to him that his weapons are missing.

Specter says "Damnit! Victor wake up our stuff is gone!" Victor slowly wake up and feel his stuff. "Hmm, my things are gone too..." "Well I guess we might as well get up..."
Specter says "Where the thief at!" You all notice the drunk guy sleeping at the end of the alley. You wonder if he is the one who took your stuff.

Then you wonder if killing him is going to make things worse for you.

Specter says "Hey, you drunk head! Where our stuff!" The drunk guy wakes up and immediately realizes something is wrong. You all wonder if it would be better to wait for him to pass out again. However, he starts running in your direction.
Specter says "Hey, that the Thief! Get him!" You all quickly begin chasing the guy. You try to grab his leg, however he eludes your grasp. By now other people have seen the commotion and are also taking an interest.
Specter says "Where the orbs and our stuff!" The Drunk guy starts running in random directions trying to get away from you all. The drunkard runs into a dead end alley and the Specters and you all wonder what to do next.
Specter says "I tell you one last time! Where is our stuff!" Victor then says something that surprises you all. "We might as well let him go and get our stuff back, he is just a little drunk right now..."

The drunk guy return the weapons and the orb back to Specter and run away from him
And Specter said "God! I hate this city!" So, the thief was not punished, but you are all satisfied that he will not do it again. But you realize there something over the dead end alley wall.
It's the Empire Astrapia State Building! Making you all think... "Hey, I thought that...!" Victor says something that surprises you all.
The Empire Astarpia State Building One of the Tallest Building in Astarpian City. It's also the Tallest Building in Entire Lairon Region with over 150th floors and powered and controlled by the Electric Orb with 1,000,000 gigavolts per years!
It was named Astrapia State Building by Victor as a joke for the Mayor.

Specter says "That's the Empire Astrapia State Building, or should i called E.A.S.B" "So Victor, what are you going to do with the Empire Astrapia State Building?" "I'm going to make a profit of course!" "Wait but isn't it illegal to use?

Victor said "Have you read the motto of Astarpian City?" "No?" "It's Everything is illegal is legal!" Victor then said "If you know what you are doing, it's perfectly legal to use.

Specter says "What kind of motto is that..." "Indeed." "How stupid can the government of this city get? (Sigh) Well, we can come back for the Building later, I guess. “Are you questioning my intelligence?" "No, but I’m asking you a question. Darkcrow can't stand up yet. but he found a way to enter the Empire Astrapia State Building. There two girls employees are entering the dressing room at the back door. And he saw one of the mafia with a VIP pass entering the E.A.S.B entrance door.
Specter says "Darkcrow, What's your plan?" "Plan? I don't have a plan, yet." "Just wait, maybe the best way is to..." Melody and Lily interrupts Darkcrow plan. Darkcrow said "Geez! What you doing here..." They both replies at the same time "Specter's orders!" Lily said. "We're here to escort you to the Empire Astrapia State Building! Melody said. Darkcrow complain. "Specter!"
Specter says "Well.. I don't even know... because I like some girls escort our team..."

Darkcrow punched Specter in a shoulder. "Ow! Why you punch me for?" "I don't know... I’m just pissed at something right now!" Darkcrow secretly doesn't want the girls joining his team mission. One of the gang at outside at the entrance of the E.A.S.B said to the gambler who want to gamble in E.A.S.B "Hey man, Give me your money or we'll beat you up!" Gang beat the Gambler to his death and drop his VIP pass.
"What the?" Victor said when he saw the crime.
"Well, it's obvious now that this is a perfect place to steal some stuff!" Specter said.

Specter steal the VIP pass.

"Alright team, we need to get out this stinky alley and find the Electric Orb!" Victor nods. You all take a good look outside the Empire Astrapia State Building. But the guards blocking you and said "May i see your pass, please?

Specter present his VIP pass.

You and the rest of your team pass the guards while they say "Wow! You're really lucky, man! Welcome to the Empire Astrapia State Building!"
Empire Astrapia State Building A huge skyscraper. While you're on the 40th floor, you can see the nice views of Astarpian City. This means that there should be some spare items around here somewhere.

Specter says "We need to register a room to rest up for the plan."

And you're all surprised to see that this city has a hotel on top of the sky city. Of course, it's the Empire Hotel Astarpia State Building.
The hotel room has a very luxury bedroom, kitchen, and a very large living room. A butler awaits your orders and ready to serve you at all times. You can make people think you're really rich by just telling them your name is Master Specter.
The butler announced the Black Dragon has a ceremony at E.A.S.B event hall. Tonight at 12:00 AM "Be there or we'll kill you!"
"You bet, boys!" Victor said. You nod at each other. "Go get some rest of the guys, we're heading to the ceremony." Specter ask. "Yes, Master Specter." The butler leave your hotel room.

Specter says "Geez! What we gonna do to get the Electric Orb!"

Victor says "I don't know." Spencer thinks for a moment. Roger says "Does anyone remember where the location of the location was? Victor said "Basically it's on the top to the tower." Spencer stands up "Let's get to the 100th floor!"

Specter says "But, how we gonna get the Electric Orb without getting caught by Black Dragon and his guards"

Specter hears and saw in the peephole. About those Bunny-Suit waitress talking in the hallway about The Black Dragon Identity.
The one waitress said "Did you know that he is working with Axelegore. That's why we should sit next to the VIP area in the event hall." Another waitress replies "Well, I heard he is the head of the Black Dragon Order.”

Specter says "Melody, Lily. I think you gotta need a distraction as the Bunny Girls Waitress at The Black Dragon."

"Haha, good idea!" Victor laughs. Spencer says "Victor, let's use your trick card to open the control room."

Specter says "Darkcrow, Roger. You guys up to make money at the Casino for me."

Darkcrow said "You serious, man?" Roger said "Yeah, I'm programmed to never ever to do gambling!" Victor says "Well, you can help me at the Control Room instead." Darkcrow said "Really, this is my worst mission of my life!

Specter says "I bet you, all the money from the Casino is yours!

Darkcrow agreed with his greedy attitude "Deal!" Melody replied "Hey Specter, why do I really need to distract The Black Dragon with the Bunny Suits anyways?"
Spencer says "I think the plan is, you seduce him with the bunny suit to prevent him from calling the guards, so we can get the orb from the room. also you with Lily!

Specter says "Lily, on the other hand is also has a Magi-Ability: Lilith"

Linda "Lily" Lilith Skyhound, The Demon Pilot in the Sky, Specter Ex-Girlfriend.
Magi-Ability: Lilith She can turn into a lilith or a succubus and any type of class such as Knight, Wizard or Cleric anything she wants! According to her beautiful and seductive dress of the entire female class!
She can take the job of a magical-demon to be tricked actively by the Black Dragon, but she is not stupid and agrees with Specter. Lily said "I agreed with the plans of Specter, also if I wears the bunny suits, I can turn my class Pilot into Magician! " Spencer: "Yes, I think you can do it. Lily said "Melody, are you doing this?" Melody replied "Of course :)" Lily said "Beautiful, let's get ready!"
11:55 PM before the shows started…
The plan has already started at E.A.S.B. Lily and Melody are in the dressing room where they going to serve some wine to the mayor also known as The Black Dragon, Darkcrow is on his black suits and got some chips and some cheating cards to his pocket. While Specter, Roger and Victor wearing a suit and they now going to the 100th floor.
The Bunny Waitress Team is on their way to the Casino as well, Specter decide not to tell them of the plan, they will probably just do the distraction.
Darkcrow is on his poker table with some Mafia around him. He gulp nervously... and he got the sweat all over him and said "Oh, hello there!" The mafia has a menacing look all over him! "Do you know how to play game?" The game master asks politely. "Why yes! I got a huge game of 5D-Jacks going on right now! Come let do this!" Darkcrow says happily.
Darkcrow sweating nerverously and wished "Man, i wish Roger should join me in this Casino!
Meanwhile, Victor, Specter and Roger enter the control room...
Spencer uses his magical powers, but no one is around, in fact the room seems deserted.

Specter says "No one here..." "It's empty!" Victor said with a creepy laugh. "Let's get the work done!" "What happens if the boss comes back?" Roger asks.
Specter says "Well, we have to stay focus." Suddenly, The Electric Orb is gone!

"Where is it?" Victor asks. "I don't know, someone must have took it." Roger says.

Specter says "It's must be that Black Dragon Guy at the Event Hall!"

"We have to find it!" Victor says. "Orb's power can be accessed by anyone." Roger points out.
Specter call Melody in her small microphone on her Bowtie.
"Melody! Lily! The Black Dragon got the Electric Orb!”
"We're in the begin in the ceremony now!" She replied. "Got it! Thanks Blueberry!" He replied. "We're on our way, we'll be there soon!" Roger said. "Huh, whoever he is, he must be a powerful and intelligent guy..." Victor mutters.

Specter end the call with Melody.

and Victor said "You called your Girlfriend, Blueberry?" "Yeah, she's a big hero around the campus..." Specter said with a cheeky smile. "Heh, well alright, I guess it's just as well that we have you along then."
Meanwhile at Melody...
Melody said "The Black Dragon got the Electric Orb!"
"That's great!" Lily replied. "Let's get going, we have to meet The Black Dragon in the ceremony!" Melody said. "OK!" She agreed.
The show announcer said "And now, the biggest guest! we like to announce..."
PLEASE WELCOME! THE MAYOR OF ASTARPIA CITY AND OWNWR OF E.A.S.B!
THE BLACK DRAGON! The Black Dragon has a shiny black silky tuxedo and a sharp white hair that cover his one eyes also with a black fedora and a Skull staff on his hand. He looks like Specter.
"Hello Everyone! Thank you for attending my biggest event so far!" He has a microphone in his hand.
Dragon said "This ceremony about my greatest city of them all and my biggest power in this city!"
Then, the Dragon begin to speaks...
"Now, I want you know that this event WILL be a historical moment! Axelegore, He one of my working partner with this work and this city, Our powers will rise above the world! I make this promise! Now, this isn't a speech this time, this is a question and answer session. If you don't ask me, you don't sit at the table! I HAD THIS! BABY!" he present the Electric Orb!
The Crowd gasp and say "WOW!" "Now, ask me a question, and i will answer!" The Dragon said while smiling. "This Orb can powered our City to the Unlimited Powers!" That mean More Crimes, More Violence’s and More Deaths in this Death Arena for those weaklings heroes who tries to restore the Orb! Now it's your turn to be the Dragon! "Why didn't you restored the other Orbs?" A Man asked. "It's a long story..." Dragon began to tell his tale... Dragon disagree the tale "But, it's a secret!" "Don't worry about it!" He replied. "But..." The Man said. "IT'S A TRUTH, NOT A BIG DEAL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU!" He replied angrily!" "I WANT TRUTH NOW!" He yelled to him!
Dragon yelled "OK, I'll reveal the truth, WHOEVER SHOOT THAT MOTHERFUCKING MAN HEAD WIN FOR A THOUSANDS BUCKS!" The man said "Wait, please no!" Then he turned to the Crowd and said "I'm sorry for my actions, I'm new at this and it was a mistake to come back here!"
Dragon said "IT'S TOO LATE! EVERYONE DRAW!" Everyone shoot at the Man Head and lead him in the painful death with a thousands bullet shot through the entire body...
The Black Dragon is a very powerful and dangerous man with a huge killing streak. Surprisingly, he dislikes to talk about his past.
Dragon said "What a Bloodbath! Guards, Send this man corpse to the Cremation Room. Before those grubs eaten him alive. Also here some thousands bucks whoever kill that guy!" He throw the Bill towards to the Crowd!
Everyone starts to grab the Bill! Dragon laughed insanely "Haha! I loved this city!" Melody was serious and said "What a dangerous man..."
Suddenly, Dragon invited "Who's that pretty woman? You want to join us for some drinks?" He pointed his staff to Melody... Melody accepted, this is some kind of amazing thing... Melody said "Me?"
"Yes, come sit next to me!" Dragon replied. "Really?" She replied back. "Yes, really! Don't I know you?" Dragon questioned. Melody walk down the stairs and sit with Dragon but Lily started sit with Dragon, But he said "Stop! NOT YOU!"
Lily said "But..." Dragon replied "Aren't you the blue haired bunny-suit woman that I pointed to her? Lily said "Yes, I'm her partner." "Oh, you look prettier! Come sit next to me…” Dragon agreed her info! Melody and Lily were sitting next to Dragon… They talked about life as the mayor of Astarpian City and then he said. "So tell me, have you ever loved a boy before?"
Melody reply with embarrassment "Wha.. What? No! Please, who would love a girl like me? Dragon said "Tell me, have you ever loved a boy before?"
"Seriously?" She replied. "Serious" He replied. "No, why would I?" Melody replied again. "Tell me, have you?" Dragon replied again. "No! Melody replied. Dragon said "Well, this is your lucky day for you. Because I'm here!"
The next moment, Dragon started to stare at Lily very close...
Then he said "Hmmm, you're not quite pretty enough to be a succubus, but you could make an excellent-" Lily said "What?"
Dragon interrupted him "I was going to say you could make an EXCELLENT PAWN ... or MEAT..."
Lily ask the Crowd "WHAT?!" Meanwhile... Specter, Roger and Victor is now on the Casino and saw Darkcrow won a lot of pokers chips bets from the mafia. The mafia are well known defeated and broke!
Darkcrow said "FUCK YEAH! FIFTY TIMES IN THE ROW!" He high fived the Crowd surrounding him. Roger said "Let's stake our winnings here!"

Specter says "Yo! Dark! Are you done here?" Darkcrow said "Yeah! I won 50 times in a row!" Victor and Specter got some chips from Darkcrow. "Victor, what do you think of Darkcrow's winning? Victor, disagree his winning streaks and said "Amateur! I won 100 times in this Casino!" Darkcrow look confused and said "What? You're joking!" Victor said "I swear to God! I'm the best Gambler here! Darkcrow said "OH YEAH?"

"Yeah, you're still an amateur." Victor said and walk away. Specter said "Let's stake our chips here! Dark shouted "Oh yeah! Victor, For now on, You're now my rival!" and high fived him.
Victor said "Hah, you and your 50 winning-streak in the row. Enough with the High Fives! Let's play Poker right here! Right now!"

Specter says "Enough! You Greedy Rats! We're have to find Melody and Lily!" "Oh, sorry! Let's go!" Darkcrow said. They left the casino room to find Melody and Lily and Darkcrow came back to get the chips "Sorry, but the chips coming with us!" He steal the chips and put them in the loot bag!

Meanwhile... Melody and Lily trying their best to distract Dragon! "Hey you! Stop staring at my butt!" Lily said. "Oh wait, are you talking to me?" Dragon replied. "Yeah, you better stop that." she replied. "Or what?" he replied. Melody try to sneaky steal the Electric Orb... and Dragon caught her! "What are you doing?! You trying to shock me?" he said in annoyance. "NO! But you have to let us go." Melody replied. "Oh yeah, I should let you go..." Dragon said. She smiled. "NOT, IF I GIVE YOU A KISS!" Dragon laughed insanity. “No, No, No, No!” Melody tries to run for it! He ran towards her and kissed her.
Suddenly, Specter saw Dragon kissing Melody in her lips... Dragon saw Specter and said "Aw... was that your Girlfriend that I kissed her in front of you?"

Specter says Rghh..." Specter stare at Dragon angrily and completely cover with red haze and aura in his body! "Should have waited until we're alone!" Dragon now knows. Melody tries to free herself from Dragon, but he is too strong! “By the way, as the mayor of the Astarpian City, She is now shall will be my QUEEN!” Dragon shouted!
Specter says "YOU GET AWAY MY GIRLFRIEND, YOU FUCKING FREAK!" In his demonic voice! He dash towards Dragon and gave him a punch in the face cause his skull break and then another one, and then another one! But Dragon won't go down! He punch back, and then several of them!
Specter summon the dead, demon and ghosts from out of nowhere to be his ally to protect from the Crowd! Several Ghosts and Demons started to appear around the area! Grim and evil spirits are powerful indeed! The crowd shoot the dead with their Tommy Gun. But no effects to the dead! The ghost slice through the crowd! The crowd died instantly!
Specter cast his powerful weapon Hades Scythe! Dragon casted an spell against him, but Specter block the attack! Then, he used his weapon, Hades Scythe to cut Dragon's arm! It was bleeding! The battle now begin to heating up! Dragon said "Damnit! Where that Rogue come from!" Then, in a flash of light, Dragon see a man standing there holding a very large scythe! Specter says "Dragon, You're souls is mine... AND I WON’T FORGIVE YOU!!!" He swing his scythe and Dragon casted his own Magi against him, but the Specter easily blocked the attack! "Let's make one thing clear, before I kill you!"
Specter ignore his orders and attack his wrath! “IT’S TOO LATE, TO PAY YOUR CONSEQUENCE!” He attacked him, with several ghosts, skeletons, and demons supporting him! Dragon casted some sort of shield against Specter attack! The clash of the powerful auras shock both fighters and their minions!

Suddenly, Dragon cast Nova! Nova appears to be a powerful explosion of light and sound! He can barely hear anything, but he see everything! Demons, Specters and even some ghosts blown away instantly!
“NGAHHHHH! DRAGOOOOON!” Specter shouted!
Dragon is retreating with his cutted right arm and left the Electric Orb behind. Dragon run for his life and got collapse on the ground and Suddenly, the mysterious pirate grab him and take him to the familiar ship.
Dragon said "Thanks for saving me, Gruz..." Gruz reply "No problem, but I think it's time we stop this little fight. The other group is ready to retreat this rogue wrath." "Hmm, let me just finish this fight, and then we can attack together!" Dragon replied

Melody said "Specter! Just listen to me!" But he's not listening to anyone. He's too focused on killing Dragon cowering at the Sky Crasher ship. Melody said "Come on! Specter! Just listen to me!" She grab him and kiss him!

Specter heart is filled with love... He calmed down the Wrath... The shadows aura began to fade away..
Specter return to his former self... Melody take back her right hand away from him and just stood there awkwardly "Uh... Just let me come with you..." He said sadly. She said "Sorry Specter."

A month ago I posted a thread making the argument that the global economy would enter a serious downturn unless two things happened: 1) a treatment for the new coronavirus was developed immediately 2) a vaccine is developed by the next flu season

The reasoning hinged on whether the characteristics of the virus was dangerous enough to change the behavior of economic actors. We've had past scares like H1N1 or ebola that didn't have any major impact. But my it seemed clear that the characteristics of this new virus was disruptive and dangerous enough to seriously affect the behavior of economic actors and thus negatively impact the economy as a whole. Here's some highlights of what was discussed:

This is why I said for nCoV to "blow over", an affordable treatment needs to be developed pretty much right now. Think about it, who would unnecessarily risk a trip to the movies or take a vacation with the risk of a catching HIGHLY infectious disease that spreads in many ways and spreads asymptomatically and can outright KILL you at up to a 25% probability without hospitalization?
Affordable and effective treatment SOON and vaccines before the next flu seasons are crucial to avoiding lasting economic decline
But why would there be economic decline? Well, because people will change their behavior as long as the threat of the virus remains. Let's look at what industries will be affected:

• All tourism industry related businesses in Asia will take a huge hit. I'm talking about airlines, hotels, tours, restaurants, tourist destinations, markets, etc.
  
• Reports already show that business declined by as much as 80% in some tourism driven markets in Thailand. Overall air traffic in China has shrunk from over 17,000 daily flights to 5,000. Hotels, cruises, flights are getting canceled left and right.
  
• Many businesses that run on tight margins and those with complex supply chains and a Just-in-Time manufacturing strategy will be seriously hit by this and may even have to file for bankruptcy. Let's take something like restaurants into consideration. The ones who specialize in deliveries may actually thrive in this market but most restaurants that depend on foot traffic or has high markups and depend on ambience to attract customers will suffer or shutter. They have to keep paying expensive rent and other overhead costs while customers may take months to slowly return.
  
• Expect a lot of businesses to start massive layoffs. Vulnerable Asian airlines will be first. Many airlines like China Airline are already halting recruiting new flight attendants. Others like Cathay Pacific which has negative operating cash flow are asking their crew to take up to month long unpaid leave. They are canceling up to 50% of their flights stretching into at least march. How can they possibly remove the threat of this virus if no treatment/vaccine has been developed? The reason they are shutting down flights will therefore persist, and they will suffer a prolonged period of diminished business.
  
• America and the West will also feel the reverberations of China's hard fall. The ways that the West's economy is tied to China's is too much to even try to list. But just understand that the biggest growth of profit over the last 20 years for many of the largest companies have come from China's consumer class. If that consumer class is not buying stuff, stocks will tank. Companies that spent the last 10 years using cheap debt to finance growth may go into bankruptcy when they are faced from such a drastic and sudden dip in their business. Expect all the weak poorly run businesses to get shaken up and many of them failing in the coming months.
  
• There will be a feedback loop. There are many industries we can FOR SURE predict big problems for in 2020. We are guaranteed to see layoffs in airlines (especially Asian airlines) in the coming months. Set a reminder on this comment if you don't believe. I can even name you specific companies that will probably go bankrupt.
  
• Layoffs will compound upon itself. When airlines, hotels, restaurants, malls, etc are firing workers, the workers won't have money to spend on buying things. This means other businesses may suffer enough to also start firing some workers. Businesses in 2020 overall are so overleveraged that a large percentage of them are not going to be able to handle even a few months of lower business. They simply can't pay all the expenses and the debt obligation.
  

So if my logic and assumptions are correct, we are looking at an inescapable catastrophe for the Asian tourism industry at the very least. Just in Time manufacturing keep about 2 weeks worth of parts. Most businesses already adjusted their supplies to account for the normal Chinese New Year shutdown. We are now coming up on the limits of most JIT supplies. So expect some pretty bad news to be coming out this week and especially by later this month. I'm seeing pretty big dips in the stock market by April. Probably -15% by April and up to -35% by the end of the year. This will be our "dip".

After I posted this thread, the market (American) went on to make record breaking all time highs. I believe a few things are responsible for this:

• Capital flight from Asia
  
• Monetary actions from China and other nations
  
• Poor modeling of previous "health scares" including the much talked about "V-shaped recovery"
  
• Use of lagging indicators. There is still news coming out of "positive economic news" like ones regarding unemployment.
  
• Downplay of the virus by governments and international health organization WHO
  
• Pure ignorance (this was the "it's just the flu" period)
  

After a month, we've come to find out some more information about the virus. Some are bad but there are some good news as well.
Let's start with the good news:

• Various currently available drugs like Chloroquine have shown efficacy in treating infected patients. Don't expect peer reviewed studies anytime soon, this is just based on what was observed in China where health officials tried throwing all types of drugs at it until they noticed Chloroquine seems to work.
  
• [Speculation] Heat and humidity may play a part in slowing the spread of the virus: see Singapore, India where they have tested a significant number of patients. Singapore is especially transparent and aggressive in finding cases. If they can contain this as a travel hub, then they may have a roadmap for our own containment once the weather warms. Other coronaviruses also slowed in heat
  
• [Speculation] Diet may play a part in the spread of the virus. Indian diet rich in Curcumin/Turmeric may have an advantage in either fighting infection or dealing with the symptoms of infection. Hundreds of Indian students were evacuated from the epicenter of the Chinese outbreak and not a single one was infected after quarantine and testing.
  
• Let's all hope the weather can give the Northern Hemisphere some much needed help in combating this virus (stay out of the Southern Hemisphere)
  

Now some bad news:

• [Controversial] The virus may have mutated at least once. The newer strain is more aggressive. This was a fear that was talked about in the thread from a month ago:

RNA viruses like nCoV mutates extremely quickly. This means potential resistance or immunization from catching nCoV once may be lost if the virus mutates enough. This also means that there may never be permanent immunization. Any vaccine developed for it may only be effective for a portion of the mutations. And each flu season may bring many different strains of this virus that will be unaffected by developed vaccines. In other words, nCoV may be here to stay, much like other flu viruses.

• It is being reported that it is possible to catch both strains at once (Chinese Journal National Science Review)
  
• [Speculation] Guangdong reports up to 13% of patients tested positive for virus again weeks after "recovering". There are many possible explanations for this, some are benign but there have been several reports from health officials in various parts of China that they're seeing reinfection. Some viruses, the ones that target and manipulate the immune system response, cause more damage the second/third+ time of infection. Some diseases use our antibodies to cause more damage.
  
• Patients who "recovered" from the virus including the recent man in his 30's die after recovery. There is lasting lunge damage in some patients. This means worse lunge function and injuries that allow for opportunistic infections.
  
• WHO saying around 20% of infected cases require hospitalization. These patients have pneumonia and will drown in lunge liquid if they don't get on ventilators or as a worst case scenario ECMO machines. There are 300 ECMO machines in America.
  
• Very little has been done to contain virus spread in America. Up to a few days ago, only 500 have been tested compared to tens of thousands in South Korea, a nation a fraction the size/wealth of us. For over a month since China shut its country down, we didn't even have a working test kit. The earlier one was defective.
  

Will things get better or worse?

• For America, things will get much worse before it gets better.
  
• This is not like the previous financial crises. With financial crises, we didn't have overrun healthcare systems, quarantines, and persistent danger of dangerous infectious disease to worry about. The economic impact will be dragged out because of the nature of this virus.
  
• The biggest danger is that this virus mutates into more strains. This makes vaccination far less effective. If this virus retains its deadliness and persists as a seasonal flu, then we are looking at a potentially permanent shift in human behavior. Entire industries will stop existing because large gatherings of people is too dangerous to continue. This is a heavy dose of speculation but it is also founded in very real possibilities. This virus has a massive evolutionary advantage in that it can spread asymptomatically for up to weeks. This means unlike far "deadlier" coronaviruses like SARS and MERS, this virus can continue killing at the same rate without risking burning itself out. SARS and MERS showed symptoms too quickly and killed too much and destroyed its own transmission opportunities by killing or incapacitating the host. This virus has decoupled transmission from keeping the host alive or at least relatively well.
  
• Imagine what industries are no longer possible if the seasonal flu puts 10-20% of infected people in the hospital. That's the very real potential if this virus mutates into more strains.
  

Further thoughts
I am running out of time writing this so I will give some direct bullet point thoughts on how things will develop. Please try to think about this pandemic critically and organically. Do not use models from previous recessions because this is fundamentally different from financial crises. Misapplying models is what led to the "v-shaped recovery" consensus that was briefly reached last month. This virus and its mutation has the potential to have lasting fundamental changes on economic actor behavior.
Stream of consciousness below:

• As stated last month, massive layoffs and bankruptcies in the Airline industry will occur.
  
• Many airlines will be bailed out, but equity holders will likely get wiped out
  
• Biggest problem with airlines is they leveraged to meet booming demand, billions upon billions spent on airplanes that are generating zero revenue while grounded. Airlines lose money maintaining servicing and storing grounded planes. Cathay has half its fleet on the ground.
  
• Casinos are the hidden big losers industry. They will lose far more than they have already lost. Casinos don't do well in recessions and will do especially poorly because of the virus. They will be trading for pennies on the dollars. They have similar problems as airlines: leverage to meet booming demand, huge overhead and debt service once the casinos stop generating revenue. Unlike grounded planes, at least casinos will get SOME kind of money out of their property. Not enough to cover expenses and debt but it's better than literally nothing.
  
• Oil industries will be heavily impacted.
  
• Different breakeven points for different oil extraction operations.
  
• The most expensive North American oil extraction stops being profitable below $50
  
• If oil prices hit $30, expect any type of fracking operations to pretty much stop.
  
• All the towns/cities/local governments depending on this industry for tax revenue is in big trouble. And so are their municipal bonds.
  
• States or even the federal government may need to bail out the industry.
  
• States may need to bail out local governments.
  
• If you are in Texas, New Mexico, OK or anywhere with oil related industry, get prepared for the local economic impact of laid off workers and less spending
  
• The virus retains high infectiousness in the 50's to low 60's temperature. Check your local forecast to see when the weather gets hotter than that. Spread will likely slow past those temperatures.
  
• Japan may be pushed into a massive economic crisis. They have the most unbelievable government debt levels of large developed economies. The triple hit of canceled Olympics, lack of tourism, and local recession may finally pop their debt bubble.
  
• Keep eyes on Singapore for hope of containing virus
  
• The more hosts this virus has, the more likely it mutates
  
• Almost all economic data are lagging, don't use lagging data to affirm that things are better than they currently or will be in the future. Conversely, once an inflection point is hit, don't look at lagging economic data to be pessimistic about the future.
  
• News from China are leading sources of data. News from Europe/Americas are lagging. See what happened in China to predict what will happen in the West (my original post and prediction came from following what happened in China)
  
• Huge supply shock in some sectors = extreme inflation. There's plenty of opportunity here if you can gather the correct information.
  
• Huge demand shock = distorted spending on alternatives. Can't go to the movies/concerts? Pay for games and home entertainment
  
• Private jail industry will likely be devastated. This virus has shown to spread like wildfire among confined populations (Chinese jails and Korean psych ward). Almost 100% of patients were infected in Korean psych ward. The private jail industry will need a bailout.
  
• Switch from big ticket luxury items to small luxuries. Entrepreneurs get ready to pivot to small luxuries.
  
• Assuming threat of virus is gone, expect economic transition period of 3 years before we enter boom economy. Adjust the industries you invest in accordingly.
  
• A lot of companies will go bankrupt or get bailed out. The bailouts come in many forms. Some type of loan payment freeze for entire industries (like tourism) is possible. Freeze on tax collection from businesses is likely. Helicopter money into consumer hands. Or outright bailouts like what we saw with some companies in 2008.
  
• Most vulnerable and overleveraged companies will go under first.
  
• Not the type of market to "buy the dip" because even financially secure companies may get wiped out in some industries.
  
• Mass unemployment/underemployment. If you are in the most vulnerable businesses (tourism/travel), try to transition right now if you can. Have a plan to not have a job by May
  
• The CFR is likely lower than reported. WHO has CFR at above 3%. But many countries like America are not testing to find everyone with virus. So the CFR is exaggerated from an unrepresentative sample. CFR may be well below 1%, but if enough are infected, the medical system will be overwhelmed and the CFR will quickly rise to the ~20% (those who require hospitalization to survive from severe/critical symptoms).
  
• Governments should seek to reinforce vital functions (food supply, utilities, medical service)
  
• Governments should seek to have comprehensive stimulus policies in place (US should seek high return investments like infrastructure)
  
• Central Banks are in big trouble. If banks are afraid to raise rates during a supposed "booming" economy, what will they do now?
  
• Negative effective rates equates to a massive wealth transfer
  
• Real negative rates is an even bigger wealth transfer
  
• Timing the market may be tricky because of central bank and government actors. But the direction is negative.
  

If I can leave with one last thought on this virus, it is the fact that this virus is 100% capable of creating a new paradigm, a new normal, in human civilization.
The mutations of this virus is key. This virus is uniquely positioned in mutating in ways that will fundamentally change human civilization. It can spread asymptomatically for up to weeks. That's our biggest problem. If it retains this characteristic, then there will be MUCH LESS evolutionary selection pressure for more benign strains of the virus. Remember that with viruses like MERS and SARS, they defeat themselves by showing symptoms too quickly and killing too much. They prevent themselves from being spread. But with this new virus, they can be as dangerous and deadly as they wish to evolve/mutate into, as long as they continue to be asymptomatic while infectious, their deadliness won't play a big factor in their persistence. They can still spread easily.
Remember that of the two strains of this virus published in the Chinese Journal, the NEWER strain is the more aggressive one. Viruses can mutate into deadlier strains just as they can more benign ones. Unlike other diseases, there's no big natural selection pressure for the more benign version of this virus.
In this new paradigm, entire industries will not exist, and how we function currently may fundamentally shift. Imagine a persistent danger every flu season of being hospitalized 20% of the time by an incredibly stealthy and infectious disease. How will that change how we work, travel, learn in schools, etc?

Other Reviews
As some of you may know, I’m publishing a series of reviews covering modern Doctor Who, these are stories I’ve watched many times before and where I know every plot twist. Watching Spyfall is a totally different experience because I don’t have a clue what’s going to happen. So, this is my review based upon my first watch.
Sometimes a title tells you exactly what to expect from a story and Spyfall, obviously taken from the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall, is a case in point. The espionage theme is played up with a globe-trotting opening featuring camouflaged creatures emerging from walls to attack some spies.
After the opening music, we arrive back home in Sheffield to catch up with the “Fam”. One of my favourite parts of series 11 was the domestic scenes at the start of Arachnids in the UK, and I thought the similar moments in Spyfall were cleverly done because it reminded more casual viewers of character background such as Yaz’s police career and Graham’s health problems. One thing that did annoy me is that Ryan’s dyspraxia seems to have been forgotten again, I know it wouldn’t stop him playing basketball but my reading of the scene is that he must be a talented player because his coach misses him enough to remember every reason he missed a game!
The Fam and the Doctor are kidnapped by ‘men in black’ and taken to MI6, I thought the scene in the car was awesome; I loved the Doctor’s ‘private’ conversation with her friends as their captor is in the driving seat next to her. Evil Sat Nav was very well done as a laser beam kills the driver, and the car is reversed into oncoming traffic, I was very pleased with myself that I thought of using the mirror at the same time as the Doctor! When they eventually reach London, the head of MI6 (‘C’) is only Stephen Fry!!!
Casting is an interesting thing, reading the comments on Gallifrey, most people liked his performance, but I think he’s reached that level of celebrity where he’s pretty much Stephen Fry in everything he appears in. There was a strange decision made in Resolution to close down UNIT and in Spyfall it’s mentioned that Torchwood no longer exists either, I know MI6 fits with the whole ‘spy’ theme, but it would have got a lot more fan love if it had been either of these other organisations. After giving the gang a bunch of secret agent hardware and details on the main suspect, C is assassinated and camouflaged creatures appear from the walls forcing the gang to flee in the TARDIS.
Nothing has changed my opinion that three companions are too many for the series structure, because giving them something to do means the Doctor takes the unlikely step of sending Ryan and Yaz to infiltrate the headquarters of Daniel Barton, the Jeff Bezos/Mark Zuckerberg/Elon Musk figure at the heart of the plot. While they do this, the Doctor and Graham go to visit an old friend in the Australian Outback, I don’t know if anyone else thought the secret agent was going to be an old friend, but when we saw the back of O’s head I thought it was Captain Jack for about 2 seconds!
I really liked Sacha Dhawan’s O, there was something of the likeable geek about him, but unfortunately, he also illustrates one of the problems with the presentation of the Doctor. In The Age of Steel, the Tenth Doctor is talking to the creator of the Cybermen and says “I’d call you a genius, except I’m in the room” and this illustrates my view of the Doctor; she should be the cleverest person in any scene, she won’t show off her knowledge like Hermione Granger, but if there’s a problem, she should invariably be the person who solves it. When O’s home comes under attack from creatures made of light, the Doctor seems to stand around helplessly when the agent activates a defensive shield, the Doctor’s main contribution is to use her sonic to drop a physical cage around the intruder.
I really like the concept of the creatures, they seem to possess the “perfect hiding” referred to in Listen, and the way they create themselves out of the surface they use to camouflage themselves makes them visually distinctive. In their light form, they did remind me of Cyber-ghosts from Army of Ghosts, but in terms of outline, I thought there was something of Omega from Arc of Infinity (please no!).
Yaz and Ryan manage to pass themselves off as journalists and get to interview Daniel Barton; there’s something about Yaz’s character that means she fades into the background when all the group are together and it was good to see her channelling Sarah Jane Smith when questioning Barton. If a career in the Police doesn’t pan out, journalism is definitely an option as she quizzes the head of VOR on some of his companies’ working practices. Like Stephen Fry, Sir Lenny Henry is incredibly famous in Britain, but I don’t think he has quite the same public persona. Also, his comedy and acting career has been built on playing a range of different characters – see series three of Broadchurch, which meant I was able to focus more on his performance.
Some of Ryan’s and Yaz’s spy gadgets enable them to scan Barton’s DNA and to copy his security pass and they use this to return to his office at night. They see Barton meeting the light creatures and one of these attacks Yaz, sending her into a strange realm, before she appears in Australia in the cage where O and the Doctor had trapped another light creature. I thought this was quite a dynamic way to link events between the two locations. Based upon the information Yaz and Ryan have gathered, the gang and O crash Daniel Barton’s birthday party.
The party sequence is pretty dreadful on a number of levels; let’s start with the music – a James Bond pastiche which is just too obvious, then all the characters attend the party in James Bond style tuxedos – it’s like they know they’re appearing in a Bond parody. Their mission is to find and question Barton but, because this is their one chance to get all the Bond clichés in, they have to play casino games. The moment where the Doctor is playing Blackjack and shouts out “snap” was on a par with the “I suppose we’ll have to have a conversation” line in Resolution. When the Doctor finally tracks down Barton, he dances rings around her in their conversation, leaving her staring after him as he leaves, driving away from the party in his car.
When Yaz was interviewing Barton earlier, she mentioned his collection of motorbikes – a collection that he’s so casual about that he leaves them right outside the front door of his house. The gang steal the bikes and chase after Barton. I liked the car stunt at the start, but the bike chase isn’t great, partly because the series hasn’t got the money a sequence like this would demand, but also because of the reactions of the characters. Barton pulls out a gun and starts shooting at his pursuers, many bullets hit the bikes but none of the characters react like they would in real life by pulling out of the chase, instead they all stay hot on Barton’s tale like they know they’re in a Bond film and won’t actually be shot.
The gang pursue Barton to an airport, where he boards a plane and the Doctor uses her sonic to open the baggage section and they chase the moving plane to smuggle themselves on board.
Yaz’s DNA scanner revealed that Barton was 93% human and they have a discussion about how Barton could not possibly be an alien because he’s got an established history, I bristled at this, thinking back to Harold Saxon in The Sound of Drums, but then O reveals that he is the “Spy-MASTER!” This is an OMG moment, but actually it’s done more for the cliffhanger than because it’s justified by what we’ve seen on screen. O struggles when running after the plane telling the Doctor that he’s a terrible runner, but she’s read his biography so she knows this isn’t true. Think back to Utopia, where all the plot threads come together at the same time to reveal that Professor Yana is the Master – this isn’t in the same league.
As soon as O unveils his true identity, he switches to full on villain mode, even going as far as to pull out a match box containing the real version of his persona that he shrunk with his Tissue Compression Eliminator. I thought the effect was dreadful, looking worse than the Auntie Vanessa doll in Logopolis. It’s strange, but the only convincing TCE corpse is in the first Master story 1971’s Terror of the Autons.
Events start to speed up, Barton is not on the plane and instead his seat is occupied by a “cockpit bomb.” The Doctor tries to use her sonic to diffuse this, but of course the Master has thought of this, so the Doctor pretty much stands there and stares at the bomb. I get that the Doctor can’t solve every problem but Chibnall needs to make her more proactive – she could be snipping wires or trying to detach the bomb to throw it out of the plane – instead all she does is shut the cabin doors. The Master tells the Doctor “Everything that you think you know is a lie” and teleports away. I haven’t loved a TV Doctor Who episode since World Enough and Time, and I really wanted to love Spyfall; it looks fantastic, the monsters are cool, it’s got the shock return of the Master, but it’s somehow less than the sum of its parts and I think that’s because of the writing. I don’t remember laughing at any jokes and I can’t remember any quotable lines. As a series opener, it’s reasonably competent and the cliffhanger sets things up for a story where potentially anything can happen, but I still want more from my favourite show. (6/10)

2297 somewhere in Oklahoma Journal entry 1 date 5/ 13 / 2297 “ at least that’s what my pip boy says”

 I’ve been walking for a day now and found this little journal. I remember back when I was with the enclave some of the officers keeping them as sort of something for their families to have if they died. I’ve got no family but I guess this is a good way to talk about things and how my days have gone. And hey who knows maybe when I die someone might find this and learn from my mistakes. I’ve made a lot of those I’m 61 after all. So to start things happy birthday to me I guess. Well it was yesterday and let me tell you it was one eventful birthday. So let me start at the beginning. I was at the star skate bar it’s a small bar built in an old world roller rink I believe that’s what they were called. One of the things I don’t like here is that when I walk in wearing my power armor every one just has to turn there heads. I miss when people knew that power armor meant you don’t even look at me unless I let you. Dam I miss the enclave. Any ways I hoped out of my power armor and paid the “valet” who’s really just one of the bouncers I pay so that 40 year old power armor suit doesn’t get stolen. Then made my way into the bar. So it sit down and ask for my drink “get me some vodka top shelf please none of that cheap Russian crap.” And so he did as I asked and then that’s when he walked through the door. A man with blond hair clean shaven face a tan trench coat and a matching fedora. He sat down at the bar . My drink was almost out and the bar tender gave me another “I didn’t order this. I said” “He did. said the bar tender.” pointing at the man in the trench coat. The man was motioning me over so I took my drink and walked down and sat with him. “ What is it you want? I asked. And if you want a mercenary your better off hiring a mole rat. I don’t do that work” “ I only want a moment of your time. the man said” “Well it’s gonna cost you another drink for that. I demanded” so he called the bar tender over and asked for another one and slid some caps across the bar. And the bar tender slid the drink down to me “ Alright you have my attention. I said” “ Good good, the man said. Well I represent a certain organization with certain interests. To keep it brief we know of your past as a medic with an organization known as the enclave. Is that true?” “ Yes it is, I said” “This would also stand to reason you have special knowledge of chems. There effects on people the doses and there ingredients correct?” “ correct, I said” “ Good then I have not only an offer for your financial interests but also an opportunity for revenge. See we are similar to the enclave. We want the old American back and to do that at least in Texas we need a certain chem. It’s called psychout a chemically perfect non habit forming drug that a mob has been making. it’s so powerful when taking it you can with your bare fist knock out a super mutant in only a couple punches.” “ Why would the mob make this. I said, wouldn’t they want something habit forming” “That’s the other issue. He said, They are doing something to the water to get people addicted to the water I guess and people are getting sick from it and buying tons of fixer and addictal from the mob at their casino.” “So what was the revenge you where talking about? I asked” “BOS, the man said” I jumped up in my seat a little. “BOS, I said They’re this far west?” “ Unfortunately yes, said the man, And they are the last hurdle to jump though once we take out the mob. The boss has authorized me to give you a deal. We want you to be our lead chem guy and the bosses right hand man. Along with this I’ll give you an up front payment now and when you get to our base. This payment is anything you want within reason I’ve got a Brahmin waiting out side with lots of different things. 2nd a salary to be determined but trust me you will be making 3x as much as you underlings at least, more if you do well. And lastly the boss has said that when the BOS is defeated you will get to execute their elder yourself. What do you say? Do we have a deal?” I took a sip of my drink and pondered for a moment but it was an easy answer “ Ok I’m in but as a symbol of trust what is your organization call and where is your base” “Ok ,the man said, we are the NAE” Just as he said that CRACK!!! One of the tables in the corner was flipped over and 3 men in brown trench coats and fedoras were firing laser RCW at us. I hoped over the bar my new friend wasn’t so lucky he was shot 4 times before he could react. I pulled out a suppressed .38 pistol cause I left the dam .50 on the other side of the bar. I blind fired over the bar and one of the lasers stopped. I always knew I was lucky weather in black jack or a gun fight. But there were still two left and the bouncers 10mm pistols were not gonna keep them at bay for long. I ask the bar tender who was behind the counter with me “Hey give me some straight alcohol and some rags.” He did so, I pored a little alcohol on the rag and left the rest inside the bottle then I put the rag in the top of the bottle took some matches from behind the counter lit the dam thing and threw it. With a loud swoosh flames lit up the room giving me a distraction to hop the counter and grab my .50 AT. With a loud KRACH the bullet blew away its target. Throwing blood and bone across the wall behind him. But the last one fired right at me forcing me to duck. All I had was my machete at this point so I took a broken table leg and threw it at him I pulled out my machete and sprinted through the fire in my way and with one stab his body crumpled to the ground. After the whole ordeal I was checking the bodies and plucked the nice fedora off the agent for my payment since his Brahmin ran off. Took his nice amount of caps too but when I checked the corpses I saw that horrible symbol of the BOS and snapped. I stopped in the head of the corpse till I was pulled away by the surviving bouncers. I sat across the room and finished of my drink and then thought the BOS combat armor with trench coat could work as a disguise. If I was to be in a war espionage was always a good call. So I packed my things the bar tender gave me a free bottle of the expensive stuff as thanks for saving him and I was off to Texas but the problem was I didn’t know where in Texas so it looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me. So who ever in the wasteland is reading this after my death that’s what I’m doing I’m leaving the out skirts of Oklahoma City and going to Texas. 

NOTE: I haven’t written in this cause nothing has happened till now I was at the state crossing today (it’s been about 3days since I’ve written in here BTW) and in one of the old radios in a state trooper station lit up and this Is what it said: “Is this thing on? Fuck , I think it is. Well in that case. To any of those sorry folks who are stuck out in the wastes, sorry to interrupt your daily broadcast of nothing. You’re now listening to the first broadcast of T-COM radio. Lucky you! You want to know what you won?”
“Fuck all, that’s what. But that can be changed, so long as you will to work for it You see I am a man that can give you the opportunity of a lifetime. I can give a proper home, proper job, proper food and water and HELL I’ll even throw in a proper bathroom.”
“Look, we all know that the world is a living cluster fuck of asshole people and animals. But if we work together we can change that. So here’s my offer. You pack a bag... if you don’t have a bag you better find one, and fill it with anything important to you. You get one the road till you find the Alamo once you’re there, well... that’s when the real deal is shown.”

 The radio clicked the mic over to someone else. I quickly grabbed the talking piece of my radio “Hey Hey, I said” the man passed the mic back to his boss. The boss said “Who are you and where are you so I can have you gutted for calling me unannounced.” I responded “ I’m Miller and I’m gonna go out on a limb and say you’re the NAE I was contacted by one of your agents to come to see you guys.” “My sources said you were a smart one good thing too we’ve got work to do and I need you. I suppose my agent told you about the deal. The man said “ “Yes your agent is dead tho shot by BOS hitmen. I responded” “That’s unfortunate to hear. The boss said, So I assume you agree to the deal then?” “Yes I’m on my way to you right now I’ll be there in about a week and a half. Hey let me give my power armor radio frequency it’s 123.67” “ Good I’ll check on you at 1200 and 1800 hours till you get here my name is Jonny by the way glad you heard the message now get some rest you need to get moving tomorrow” “Yes sir, I said” I clicked off the radio and that brings us to now I’m gonna go to bed I’ve got a long walk ahead of me.”

I recently did a playthrough of Fallout New Vegas where I picked up and kept everything. EVERYTHING. I picked every area bone dry. I took all the perks related to carrying stuff. The character of Kylo Ren, especially among Reylo meta'ists, theorists, and Star Wars speculators, has been compared to many archetypal figures throughout classical lierature and mythology: Hades, God of the Underworld (see Lindsay Ellis's video here); Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera (also see Lindsay Ellis's videos here and here); and even Lord George Gordon Byron, by way of Byron setting the standard for the Byronic hero, as well as other Romantic-era ideals (see video here).
However, in this post today, I wanted to draw up another archetypal, classical character to comparison, and one that I feel has been vastly overlooked...Kylo Ren as a "modern-day Frankenstein's monster", drawing from Mary Shelley's classic novel, Frankenstein: Or, the Modern Prometheus (1818).
Frankenstein, in turn, was authored by Mary Shelley, wife of poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, and a friend and associate of Lord Byron. Shelley's novel also draws heavily from another classical work of literature, John Milton's epic poem, Paradise Lost, as well as Samuel Taylor Coleridge's The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
Lord Byron, originator of the Byronic hero, was also fascinated with the Greek myths of the great Titan, and supposed creator of mankind, Prometheus. So, too, was Mary's husband and frequent creative collaborator, Percy Shelley.

Byron was particularly attached to the play Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus, and Percy Shelley would soon write his own Prometheus Unbound (1820). The term "Modern Prometheus" was actually coined by Immanuel Kant in reference to Benjamin Franklin and his experiments with electricity.
[...] Percy [Shelley] and [Lord] Byron's discussion on life and death surrounded many scientific geniuses of the time. They discussed ideas from Erasmus Darwin, and the experiments from Luigi Galvani. Mary [Shelley] joined these conversations, and the ideas of Darwin and Galvani were both present in her novel.
The horrors of not being able to write a story for the contest, and her hard life, also influenced the themes within Frankenstein. The themes of loss, guilt, and the consequences of defying nature present in the novel all developed from Mary Shelley's own life.
The loss of her mother, the relationship with her father, and the death of her first child created the monster, and his separation from parental guidance. (Wikipedia)

The same year that Frankenstein was published (1818), Percy Shelley, in turn, was writing Prometheus Unbound.
However, Frankenstein, in particular, is highly relevant to Star Wars in two ways. The first is that is is one of the earliest examples, and forebears, of the sci-fi genre, to which Star Wars belongs, as a whole. It speculates about technology's effect on the body and society, and asks the question, "What is human?"

Frankenstein is infused with elements of the Gothic novel and the Romantic movement. At the same time, it is an early example of science fiction.
Brian Aldiss has argued that [Frankenstein] should be considered the first true science fiction story because, in contrast to previous stories with fantastical elements resembling those of later science fiction, the central character "makes a deliberate decision" and "turns to modern experiments in the laboratory" to achieve fantastic results. The second is that Frankenstein also largely influenced the original trilogy of Star Wars films, particularly with the character of Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker), the grandfather (and predecessor) of Kylo Ren.
British bodybuilder and actor David Prowse, who physically portrayed Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, also originally began his career by playing Frankenstein's monster in three films: Casino Royale (1967, first film) and the Hammer horrors The Horror of Frankenstein (1970, third film) and Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974).
Prowse had even particularly starred alongside Peter Cushing (Grand Moff Tarkin) in Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974), billed as "the most terrifying experiment in horror ever filmed". Cushing, of course, played his signature role of Doctor Victor Frankenstein, while Prowse played the monster — types they wouldn’t stray too far from as Tarkin and Darth Vader in Star Wars. Indeed, it's quite likely that both Prowse and Cushing were hired precisely due to their previous roles in that film. (Source)
Later on, Vader's connection to Frankenstein's monster, and the Emperor or Darth Sidious's to the "creator", Doctor Frankenstein, were further cemented by the scene where Vader is placed inside his iconic suit in Revenge of the Sith (2005). This scene in particular is commonly regarded as a "homage to Frankenstein" by many fans and viewers, where Anakin Skywalker "dies", only to be "rebuilt" or "recreated" into the Emperor's Dark enforcer and servant, Darth Vader.
In Star Wars: Rebels, Vader also states to Ahsoka Tano during their confrontation:

"Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed (killed) him."

The man he was before is "dead", or so Vader believes. Instead, in his place, we have "the monster", the creation of Palpatine, or Darth Sidious. There are also many more references to Shelley's Frankenstein related to the character of Darth Vader within the prequel trilogy films, which are explored more in-depth in the article "Unnatural Births: Star Wars and Frankenstein" by Clone Corridor.
However, for the purposes of this post, I wanted to more so focus on the character of Kylo Ren, who is connected to Vader not only through his "mighty Skywalker blood", but also through similar characterization, theming, metaphors, and symbolism. Particularly, as his actor, Adam Driver, has said before, whereas Vader's character revolves around "the monster", or the "monstrosity" aspect of Frankenstein, Kylo's centers more on the theme of "humanity" posed by the same novel.
After all, compare this scene from The Force Awakens to Vader's from Rebels, with one echoing the other.

"Your son [Ben Solo] is gone. He was weak and foolish like his father, so I destroyed (killed) him."

According to Clone Corridor:

"Frankenstein is one of my favourite novels. Not only is the story of its origin beautifully sensational, it has a brilliant female author, and its plot is one which continues to be relevant, and which goes very deeply into what it means to be human, what decides good or evil, and whether we are doomed by our own birth.
At the heart of the novel lies the Creature (or Monster, as some like to call it, but I find that too judgemental). It lies there both thematically and structurally, since the novel has a framework structure. This means that each story encapsulates another, i.e. we start with the story of Captain Walton who, upon finding Victor Frankenstein, makes way as narrator for Frankenstein who himself eventually makes way for the Creature to speak.
This is then repeated backwards, as after the Creature it is once again Frankenstein’s words we get, and the novel closes with Captain Walton’s narrative. This convoluted structure is part of the appeal of the novel, since it allows for a lot of cross-comparisons between the different narrators, in the same way that the inverted structure of Star Wars (VI,V,IV – I, II, III) allows for certain parallels to be more obvious."

It is certainly worth mentioning that Rey literally refers to Kylo Ren as "Creature" and "Monster".

Rey: Where am I?
Kylo Ren: You're my guest.
Rey: Where are the others?
Kylo Ren: Do you mean the murderers, traitors, and thieves you call friends? You'll be relieved to hear I have no idea. (pauses) You still want to kill me.
Rey: That happens when you're being hunted by a (C)reature in a mask.
[Kylo Ren removes his helmet, revealing himself to be a human man to Rey.]
[...]
Kylo Ren: We're not done yet.
Rey: You're a monster.
Kylo Ren: It's just us now. Han Solo can't save you.
[...]
Ren: Why is the Force connecting us? You and I?
Rey: Murderous snake! You're too late! You've lost! I've found Skywalker!
Ren: Did he tell you what happened? The night I destroyed his temple, did he tell you why?
Rey: I know everything I need to know about you!
Kylo Ren: You do? Ah, you do. You have that look in your eyes. From the forest. You called me a monster.
Rey: You are a monster.
Kylo Ren: (pauses) Yes, I am.

As it relates to Frankenstein:

"But it is true that, [yes], I am a wretch. I have murdered the lovely and the helpless; I have strangled the innocent as they slept, and grasped to death his throat who never injured me, or any other living thing." - The Monster, Frankenstein (Clone Corridor: "The Creature is hit by remorse and anguish over his own life. The Creature [feels he has no choice but to] accept the horrid impression Captain Walton has of him [as a Monster], and sees himself as such.")
In the novel, Frankenstein's creation is identified by words such as "creature", "monster", "vile insect", "daemon", "wretch", "abortion", "fiend" and "it". Speaking to Victor Frankenstein, the monster says, "I ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel" (which ties to Lucifer in Paradise Lost, which the monster reads, and which relates to the disobedience of Prometheus in the book's subtitle).
[...] Part of Frankenstein's rejection of his creation is the fact that he does not give it a name, which causes a lack of identity. (Wikipedia)
"The monster conceives of himself as a tragic figure, comparing himself to both Adam and Satan. Like Adam, he is shunned by his creator [God], though he strives to be good. These rhetorical questions epitomize the monster’s ill will toward Victor for abandoning him in a world relentlessly hostile to him, and foist responsibility for his ugliness and eventual evil upon Victor, [his creator]." - SparkNotes

"Murderous snake", another quip by Rey, is, too, likely a reference to Lucifer from Paradise Lost, or Satan, who takes the guise of a snake in the Garden of Eden to tempt Eve into eating the fruit of the Tree of [Forbidden] Knowledge. One could also argue that, as Ben Solo "ought to be thy Adam" (pun intended), and given the yonic and sexual awakening symbolism scattered throughout The Last Jedi, Rey could be considered "Eve". Perhaps, even, with Luke Skywalker as "God".
Eventually, however, as Rey sees the "humanity" in "the Monster" (Kylo Ren), by the time she is brought before Snoke by Kylo, she has given him his name: "Ben". This is meant to remind the "Monster" of his "humanity", and his human identity.
There is the very real question, too, that the sequel trilogy poses in regard to the character of Kylo Ren, and Ben Solo: "Was he doomed by his own birth as a Skywalker?"
More recently, we have seen this addressed in several new canon novels as well, including Chuck Wendig's Aftermath series, which heavily implies a yet-unborn Ben Solo was targeted by a "Dark and powerful Force presence" in Leia's womb; Claudia Gray's Master and Apprentice ("She who was born to Darkness, will give birth to Darkness"); and various novels which chronicle Leia's own estranged, negative relationship with Darth Vader as her biological father.
In The Last Jedi, we also see Luke Skywalker's fear of Ben Solo's powerful Force presence, which he admits to Rey. Here, too, Luke even compares Kylo Ren to Darth Vader, and echoes the themes of Frankenstein in relation to the creator (Victor Frankenstein) "failing" his creation (Frankenstein's monster), creating him in his "hubris".

Luke Skywalker: Lesson two. Now that they're extinct, the Jedi are romanticized, deified. But if your strip away the myth and look at their deeds, the legacy of the Jedi is failure. Hypocrisy, hubris.
Rey: That's not true!
Luke Skywalker: At the height of their powers, they allowed Darth Sidious to rise, create the Empire, and wipe them out. It was a Jedi Master who was responsible for the training and creation of Darth Vader.
Rey: And a Jedi who saved him. Yes. Your father was the most hated man in the galaxy. He caused so much death and destruction for many years. But you saw there was conflict inside him. You believed that he wasn't gone. That he could be turned.
Luke Skywalker: And I became a legend. For many years, there was balance and then I saw... Ben. My nephew with that mighty Skywalker blood. And in my hubris, I thought I could train him, I could pass on my strengths. Han was... Han was about it, but... Leia trusted me with her son. I took him, and a dozen students, and began a training temple. By the time I realized I was no match for the darkness rising in him, it was too late...

Rey and Luke also have this exchange, after Rey and Kylo Ren touch hands through the Force-bond:

Luke Skywalker: [yells] STOP!
[Rey and Kylo Ren look at him angrily and she looks for Kylo Ren who has vanished. She turns to Luke]
Rey: Is it true? Did you try to murder him?
Luke Skywalker: Leave this island, now!
[Luke leaves. But, Rey followed him]
Rey: Stop... STOP!
[Rey slugs Luke with her quarterstaff. He turns to her]
Rey: Did you do it? Did you create Kylo Ren?
[the two proceed to fight each other along the cliffside until she gets the upper hand, forcing Luke into submission with Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber]
Rey: Tell me the truth!
Luke Skywalker: I saw darkness. I sensed it building in him. I'd seen it in moments during his training. But then I looked inside, and it was beyond what I ever imagined. Snoke had already turned his heart. He would bring destruction and pain and death, and the end of everything I love because of what he will become, and for the briefest moment of pure instinct, I thought I could stop it. It passed like a fleeting shadow, and I was left with shame and with consequence. And the last thing I saw were the eyes of a frightened boy whose Master had failed him.
Rey: You failed him by thinking his choice was made. It wasn't! There's still conflict in him. If he would turn from the Dark Side, that could shift the tide! This could be how we win!

Another major aspect of Frankenstein, which also surfaces in The Last Jedi, is the presentation of different characters' narratives, or perspectives, to provide different facets of the same story. While director Rian Johnson claims that this was inspired by the works of Akira Kurosawa, including Rashomon and The Hidden Fortress, the different views of Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker also mirror those presented for Frankenstein's monster and Doctor Frankenstein.
Frankenstein, which is a frame story, involves Frankenstein informing Captain Walton, the original narrator, of his own tale, and warning Walton against searching for "the Creature" he has created. The Creature, much like Kylo Ren, is tall, bound with muscle, and has fearsome power and strength; naturally, Frankenstein fears "it". Despite this, the Creature finds Frankenstein, and pleads for his creator to hear his case.

Intelligent and articulate, the Creature relates his first days of life, living alone in the wilderness and finding that people were afraid of, and hated him, due to his appearance, which led him to fear and hide from them.
[...] When he saw his reflection in a pool, he realized his physical appearance was hideous, and it terrified him as it terrifies normal humans. Nevertheless, he approached [a] family [he had grown fond of] in hopes of becoming their friend. Initially, he was able to befriend the blind father figure of the family, but the rest of them were frightened, and they all fled their home, resulting in the Creature leaving, disappointed. [In his anger], he traveled to Victor's family estate using details from Victor's journal, murdered William, and framed Justine.
The Creature demands that Victor create a female companion like himself. He argues that as a living being, he has a right to happiness. The Creature promises that he and his mate will vanish into the South American wilderness, never to reappear, if Victor grants his request. Should Victor refuse his request, The Creature also threatens to kill Victor's remaining friends and loved ones, and not stop until he completely ruins him.
[...] Working on the female creature on the Orkney Islands, he is plagued by premonitions of disaster, such as the female hating the Creature, or becoming more evil than him, but more particularly the two creatures might lead to the breeding of a race that could plague mankind.
He tears apart the unfinished female creature after he sees the Creature, watching through a window. The Creature later confronts and tries to threaten Victor into working again, but Victor is convinced that the Creature is evil, and that its mate would be evil as well, and the pair would threaten all humanity.

We see this, too, echoed in The Last Jedi, particularly with how Luke Skywalker sees Rey, and how she reminds him of the "Creature" now known as Kylo Ren.

Luke Skywalker: You went straight to the dark!
Rey: That place was trying to show me something.
Luke Skywalker: It offered something you needed, and you didn't even try to stop yourself!
Rey: But I didn't see you. Nothing from you. You've closed yourself off from the Force. Of course you have.
Luke Skywalker: I've seen this raw strength only once before. It didn't scare me enough then. It does now...

So, too, do we have "the Creature" (Kylo Ren) angrily confronting his "creator" (Luke Skywalker):

Kylo Ren: Did you come back to say you forgive me? To save my soul?
Luke Skywalker: No.
[they draw their lightsabers and fight]
Luke Skywalker: I failed you, Ben. I'm sorry.
Kylo Ren: I'm sure you are! The Resistance is dead, the war is over, and when I kill you, I will have killed the last Jedi!
Luke Skywalker: Amazing. Every word of what you just said was wrong. The Rebellion is reborn today. The war is just beginning. And I will not be the last Jedi.
Kylo Ren: I'll destroy her. And you. And all of it.
Luke Skywalker: No. Strike me down in anger, and I'll always be with you. Just like your father.

In Frankenstein, "the Creature" also mourns his creator's death, something which we may see Kylo Ren do in Episode IX.

Victor dies shortly thereafter, telling Walton, with his last words, to seek "happiness in tranquillity and avoid ambition". Walton discovers the Creature on his ship, mourning over Victor's body. The Creature tells Walton that Victor's death has not brought him peace; rather, his crimes have left him completely alone. (Wikipedia)
"[The Monster] exclaims his desire for death [after his creator's passing], and even mentions a funeral pyre, before jumping out the cabin window, and disappearing into darkness and towards death. Having killed his Maker, who so wronged him, brings the Creature no pleasure, because there was nothing he had to live for, no one who will remember him." - Clone Corridors

Yet, even in spite of all of the above, and both the "Monster" from Frankenstein and Vader's tales ending tragically in demise and death, Kylo Ren's story deviates in a major way from his predecessor's stories in one, major way: focusing on the character's humanity, and the theme of redemption. YouTuber Jenny Nicholson covers all of the evidence for redemption for Kylo Ren in her video here, but I will also share my own opinion on the topic.
While Kylo Ren's story, much like that of Darth Vader's, mirrors the story of "the Monster" from Frankenstein, there are also changes to the original tale, updating and "modernizing" it. If anything, the sequel trilogy almost reads as a "fix-it" fictional story to the original Frankenstein, albeit with the inclusion of a female figure, and potential mate, that "the Monster" (Kylo Ren) can relate to: Rey. Through Rey's inclusion, we also see her as the catalyst for "the creator" - Luke Skywalker, in this case - eventually changing his views on his "creation", believing that "the Creature" can be redeemed.
Furthermore, whereas Frankenstein ended with Victor Frankenstein dying because of "the Creature" he created, The Last Jedi, which ends with Luke Skywalker dying indirectly at the hands of Kylo Ren, is merely the second installment out of a three-part series. Likewise, just as Frankenstein was largely based off of John Milton's Paradise Lost, there is also an aptly-named follow-up by Milton titled Paradise Regained.

One major concept emphasized throughout Paradise Regained is the idea of reversals. As implied by its title, Milton sets out to reverse the "loss" of Paradise. Thus, antonyms are often found next to each other, reinforcing the idea that everything that was lost in the first epic will be regained by the end of this "brief epic".
An interesting anecdote, recounted by a Quaker named Thomas Ellwood, provides some insight into Paradise Regained's development. After studying Latin with Milton, and reading the poet's epic Paradise Lost, Ellwood remarked, "Thou hast said much here of Paradise lost, but what hast thou to say of Paradise found?"

The updated "Frankenstein's monster", in the form of Star Wars' Kylo Ren, also comes on the heels of a revival of Frankenstein as a property in recent years in pop culture. From 2004 to 2015, there have been numerous TV, theater, and movie "revivals", and adaptations, on the Frankenstein story, including Benedict Cumberbatch playing both Frankenstein and "the Monster" in a 2011 production; Victor Frankenstein, a 2015 film starring James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe; I, Frankenstein, a 2014 film starring Aaron Eckhart as "the Monster"; and more.
All of these stories also have something in common with Star Wars' take: their own "twist" on the traditional tale. In the case of movies like I, Frankenstein - which came out a year prior to The Force Awakens in theaters - there has also been much more focus on the themes of the "Creature"'s humanity, as well as religious themes like salvation and redemption.
To quote Clone Corridors' article:

"Finally, I want to focus on a major contrast between the two characters [of the Monster and Vader], and that is the idea of redemption. The Creature never truly gets it in Frankenstein. Once his Maker dies of exhaustion after chasing him all over the globe, the Creature is hit by remorse and anguish over his own life. Pushed forward by Frankenstein’s hate for him, the Creature’s heart was filled with evil, and not until Frankenstein dies, does he seem to realize there could have been another choice."

This is something that Rey echoes in The Last Jedi about Kylo Ren:

Rey: You failed him by thinking his choice was made. It wasn't! There's still conflict in him. If he would turn from the Dark Side, that could shift the tide! This could be how we win!

Following up even further on the Frankenstein story revival is Guillermo del Toro's critically-acclaimed film, The Shape of Water (2017). Primarily inspired by del Toro's childhood memories of seeing Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), and wanting to see the Gill-man and Kay Lawrence (played by Julie Adams) succeed in their romance, the film, too, echoes Frankenstein, and "the Monster" desiring romantic love with a mate. Specifically, del Toro produced an adaptation of the story, focused more on the creature's perspective, where "the Creature" ended up together with the female lead.
According to the article "Love and Monsters: Guillermo del Toro's 'The Shape of Water' and its Horror Influences" by Amy S. Li, a doctoral candidate in the Emory University Department of English:

'In many interviews, del Toro has spoken of the impact that classic horror films, such as James Whales’ Frankenstein (1931) and Jack Arnold’s Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), have had on him since childhood. The influence of the latter seems widely self-evident in the visual similarities between the Gill-man and del Toro’s fish man, but del Toro has also spoken explicitly about how a particular scene inspired the story which eventually became The Shape of Water.
He reveals how, at the age of six, he watched Creature from the Black Lagoon with the expectation that the Gill-man would end up with Kay, the female love interest (portrayed by Julia Adams). “What a great love story!” he says of the creature swimming underneath Kay. “I was six; I thought, I’m sure it’s gonna end well!”
The film, of course, did not end well for the creature, who sinks back into the water riddled with bullets, left to die. Del Toro concludes his anecdote by saying that though it took 46 years in the making, he “corrected it,” giving the creature the love story he thought it always deserved.
[...] Del Toro’s love for Frankenstein is well-chronicled, and while the conversation usually hinges on the 1931 film adaptation, or its sequel, The Bride of Frankenstein, we do know that del Toro loves Mary Shelley’s novel, as he has written in an introduction to The New Annotated Frankenstein, and he even hopes to adapt it for a television miniseries in the future.
[...] Del Toro declares this fish man, a god, “one of the most beautiful creatures I’ve ever committed to film.” It is his love and empathy for monsters that transforms this moment of creation—which recalls the moment of Frankenstein bringing his creature to life—into one of beauty, rather than fear or disgust. Octavia Spencer calls del Toro an “alchemist; he makes everyday things seem so otherworldly;” yet on the other hand, he manages to make the otherworldly also seem human.
Del Toro’s work is thus transformative; though visually his films may resemble horror, he “rephrases” and “reconstructs” the genre. If horror is a “cathedral” or altar at which he worships, then his project is of making that space habitable. Unlike Frankenstein, he seeks not to be God, but instead to be more human.'

Furthermore, in the case of Star Wars and Lucasfilm, there is also the case of Strange Magic (2015). While based on Beauty and the Beast, according to George Lucas, it was also centered around a take on the traditional tale "where the Beast doesn't change". In this regards, it could also be seen as reminiscent of Frankenstein, especially as the film's "villain", the Bog King, laments, much like Frankenstein's monster, that he is unable to connect with, or have the love of, another.
In the case of Lucas's take on the story, however, the Bog King ("the Beast / Monster") does eventually find love, and a mate, in a beautiful fairy princess, Marianne. Thus, Strange Magic ends with a happy ending, and according to Lucas, "Star Wars was for 12-year-old boys; I figured I'd make one for 12-year-old girls." (Source)
To quote Clone Corridor once more:

"The story of [Frankenstein] goes very deeply into what it means to be human, what decides good or evil, and whether we are doomed by our own birth. At the heart of the novel lies the Creature (or Monster, as some like to call it, but I find that too judgemental)..."

And to quote Adam Driver (Kylo Ren) himself...

"I'm leery of big movies - a lot of them sacrifice character for spectacle. When they're bad, it pisses me off - you can just tell it's made by a bunch of executives somewhere. It was all about story and character and playing someone who doesn't have it all together. Making [Kylo Ren / Ben Solo] as human as possible seemed dangerous and exciting to me." (Sources)
[...] “I think maybe this is such a general answer but you know, humanity. Even though it’s very much a blockbuster movie, and I’m aware of that, there was no taking that for granted and that we were forced to be general [in The Force Awakens]. There was a lot of plot points that we knew were operating in the first one, that we get to explain more in the second one, that kind of make both of them make sense...a lot of what I remember talking about with [Force Awakens director] J.J. [Abrams] and [The Last Jedi director] Rian [Johnson] was this idea of...two sides being morally justified to behave however they wanted to, to get whatever they thought was absolutely correct.” (Source)

And, on a final note, to quote Clone Corridors:

"Both Frankenstein and Star Wars lend themselves to analysing the grey matter between the absolutes of black and white. Both [Vader and Frankenstein's monster] are characters created wrongfully, and yet in one story ,we get a way in which even a villain can be redeemed. Not by becoming a hero anew, but by saving that which represents his goodness and kindness [and compassion, his human identity]."

Or, in the words of Rose Tico in The Last Jedi:

“That's how we're gonna win. Not fighting what we hate, [but by] saving what we love."
